Protective Programs Use Restrictions
location: central controller server program

The ActivatorDesk desktop client now automatically collects a list of programs available on a PC and sends these over to its assigned Controller. ActivatorDesk may be used to restrict the programs used on the Windows desktops to a 'safe-programs-only' list. This is aligned with the account or detected logged in Windows user for each individual user of each PC. This feature may also block the running of hostile hacker programs, games, instant messaging, virus executables, or even new software installs, for protecting a single PC or boosting productivity and security on an enterprise-wide scale. It may even prevent the uninstall of critical desktop software like ActivatorDesk itself.

The programs shown in blue in the grid at left represent critical startup programs that may be allowed or enabled with a single click.
